What are the types of cars available for people like me?
We know that there are many students that want to learn how to drive in manual cars, and there are also those that prefer automatic transmission. You will have the freedom to choose what car you’d like to learn in, as we have both manual and automatic cars. Both manual and automatic cars are common on UK roads, and either choice will work well for whatever you need it for. Can’t make up your mind on one choice over the other? Is it right to begin my driving lessons before I have passed the theory test?

How long will it take to complete a lesson?

What tests do I need to pass before I get my license?
Practice before the main test

There are five parts to the practical driving test, including independent driving, vehicle reversing, an eyesight check, safety questions, and driving ability. Both automatic and manual transmission is given the same treatment during testing. You will only have to spare about 40 minutes to complete the driving test.
It’s test day, now what?
First, you will have to show your theory test certificate and your provisional license, after which you will be required to read the number of a license plate some metres away, as a way to test your eyesight. Once you have passed through this stage, the examiner will test your knowledge by asking a number of show and tell questions. Following this, you will have to prove your skills as a driver and let the examiner know that you are capable of reversing a vehicle and driving on different types of roads effectively and safely. The test includes 20 minutes of independent driving, possibly with an emergency stop. You can expect to spend about 40 minutes on the driving test. We understand that you may be extremely nervous during the practical driving test, but remember that you have already encountered all you’ll have to do in your driving lessons.
So you have completed the test
Obtaining a full driving license
You should be proud now that you have passed your practical driving test. Now, you can apply for a full driving license. The examiner will send the results of your practical driving test to the DVLA, who will process your license. Your driving license should get to you no later than three weeks after passing the practical driving test.
