What type of car will I be learning in?
We have students who only want to learn how to drive in automatic vehicles, just as there are others who prefer to learn in only manual vehicles. You will have the freedom to choose what car you’d like to learn in, as we have both manual and automatic cars. Manual and automatic cars are equally popular across the UK, and your choice is completely to your wishes. Is it possible to start my driving lessons before I have passed the theory test?

How long will it take to complete a lesson?

Can I have lessons in my own car?
Many individuals prefer driving training being received in their own car. If you intend on using your car for the driving test, we believe practising with your own car could be a great idea. It might also be the case of you owning a new car and trying to familiarise yourself with it. Whatever the reason, at Smart Drive UK, we are able to offer our customers driver training in their own cars. But this type of service is only available to clients with registered and comprehensively insured roadworthy vehicles. Our driving instructor will need to inspect the car to check for valid registration and may be required to notify your car insurance company that the car will be used for driving lessons.

New Hazard Perception Test
Passing this test is crucial to passing the UK theory test for learner drivers. It is a compulsory test that has to be passed before you can be granted a full driver’s license. A series of videos will be shown during the test, depicting everyday road scenes and a developing hazard. You have to provide appropriate responses to the developing hazard in order to pass the test. It’s test day, now what?

The next stage involves proving that you can successfully reverse a car and drive without issue on different types of roads. After the test
