It’s Test Day, Now What?
In the test centre, the driving examination starts with you being asked to read the digits of a licence plate. This assessment is designed to make sure you can see well enough to drive safely, and that your vision is not an obstacle that will cause you problems in the future.
After reading the digits, you will be asked a series of questions about know as show and tell questions which your driving instructor will have gone through with you. You will then have to demonstrate that you can complete a manoeuvre and drive on different types of roads effectively and safely. The examiner may ask you to complete a controlled emergency stop where he or she is satisfied that you are able to stop and react quickly.
