Understanding the Bedale driver training Journey
You have to pass the DVSA Approved Driving Instructor exam to be legally permitted to be a driving tutor in the UK. The exam is done in 3 parts. The first part deals with hazard perception and it’ a multiple choice exam. This part of the test is a tougher version of the one new drivers take to get their license. The part two is a practical driving test that is tougher than the one students take to earn their driving license. In part three of the test, your ability to tutor and instruct is tested. The examiner assesses the student at this stage, and you get to demonstrate your ability to demonstrate lesson planning, risk management and teaching and learning strategies. It’s a comprehensive and difficult exam, as should be expected.
