You have to pass the DVSA Approved Driving Instructor exam to be legally permitted to be a driving tutor in the UK. The exam is in 3 parts. The first part tests your hazard perception via a multiple choice questions. This part of the test is a tougher version of the one new drivers take to get their license. The part two of the test is a tougher practical driving test compared to the one that those applying for a driving license take.
