You have to pass the DVSA Approved Driving Instructor exam to be legally permitted to be a driving tutor in the UK. 1) The exam is divided into three parts. The first part of the exam that deals with hazard perception is a multiple choice exam. The part one of the test is simply a more difficult version of the driver license test.
