You have to pass the DVSA Approved Driving Instructor exam to be legally permitted to be a driving tutor in the UK. The exam is in 3 parts. The first part deals with hazard perception and it’ a multiple choice exam. The first part of the test is similar to the ones that learner drivers take but it is tougher.
