The NewbigginbytheSea driver training experience with Smart Drive
To become a driving instructor in the UK, you will need to pass the DVSA Approved Driving Instructor examination. The exam is in 3 parts. Part one of the test is a multiple choice question that tests your hazard perception ability. The first part of the test is similar to the ones that learner drivers take but it is tougher. The part two of the test is a tougher practical driving test compared to the one that those applying for a driving license take. In part three of the test, your ability to tutor and instruct is tested. Here, the examiner assesses the student after you have demonstrated your ability to demonstrate lesson planning, risk management and teaching and learning strategies. The exam is challenging, as you would expect.
