You have to pass the DVSA Approved Driving Instructor exam, to become eligible to teach driving in the UK. The exam is in 3 parts. The first part tests your hazard perception via a multiple choice questions. The part one of the test is like the one designed for those seeking their driving license, but it is tougher. The part two of the test is a tougher practical driving test compared to the one that those applying for a driving license take. Part three of the exam tests your ability to instruct and coach.
